Seniors! The 2026-2027 FAFSA Window is Open!
Please reference your school email, Counselor's Corner announcements in Canvas, and your SchooLinks announcements from Mrs. Richter which were sent on 9/28 for step-by-step instructions. Completing the FAFSA or the FAFSA opt-out form is a state of Texas graduation requirement.

Counselor Recommendations
Many universities have upcoming application deadlines. If your application requires a Counselor Recommendation, please provide your Counselor with a resume and/or brag sheet so your Letter of Recommendation can be written. Counselors ask for a 14-day notice, so please be conscious of your application deadline and when you are requesting a Letter of Recommendation.


- Student Arrival: All students need to arrive at Foster by 5:00 PM. Students will ride a shuttle bus to the graduation venue. Following the cermony, graduates can ride home with their familes or take the shuttle bus back to Foster. Students MUST ride the bus the graduation venue.
- Doors Open: Epicenter doors open to all guests one hour before the ceremony begins.
- Ceremony Length: Graduation ceremony is approximately between one and two hours long.
- Prohibited items: The Epicenter has a a guide on prohibited items and policies
- Confetti
- Balloons
- Noisemakers
- Air horns
- Laser pointers
- Signs larger than 11” x 17”

- Graduate Guidelines:
- NOT be allowed to bring any bags including purses or backpacks
- Nothing should be left behind inside the school bus once dropped off at the Epicenter
- Graduates will carry caps and gowns until instructed to put them on
- Stoles and cords that are worn must be issued by Lamar CISD, decorations on caps are not allowed, and tassels must be worn on the right side of the cap
- Do not recommend graduates wear heels unless the style is comfortable, flat and/or low
- Cell phones must be turned off and not visible during the ceremony
- Students are NOT permitted to celebrate in ways that cause a disruption or a safety hazard
- After the Ceremony: Ahead of the event, please coordinate a meeting spot with your graduate. At the conclusion of the ceremony, graduates will exit the arena floor on the west and east side of the Fort Bend County Epicenter. We kindly ask that graduates and their families do not congregate on site or in the parking lot.
- Diploma Distribution: The school board member gives them the diploma cover and then they will receive their diploma when they exit the stage.
Graduation FAQ Page
The Lamar CISD commencement ceremonies for the class of 2025 will be held at the Fort Bend County Epicenter. All 2025 graduation ceremonies will be streamed live on the District's homepage. As the ceremonies begin, you can click HERE to watch.

For the graduation ceremony, all guests must present a ticket at the doors to enter. Foster High School's Senior Ticket Allotment for the Class of 2025 will be 12 tickets per family for graduation. If student or parent did not pick up tickets during lunch distribution, please pick up tickets in the Registrar’s Office (room 1125). Any guest over the age of 2 and anyone who requires their own seat at the venue will need to have a ticket.
Additional details:
- Each graduating senior will receive a package that includes 12 graduation tickets.
- Seniors or family/guardian #1 will be able to pick up and sign for the tickets.
- A photo ID MUST be presented by the senior or family/guardian #1 to pick up the package. There will be no exceptions to the ID requirement.
Please note: All guests will need a ticket for each ceremony if attending more than one. All guests must exit the venue after the ceremony concludes and will need to re-enter the venue with the appropriate ticket when the doors open again. Distribution of graduation tickets will be scheduled once Foster received the ticket packages. We will provide more information on the exact date and process for ticket distribution soon.

Graduation practice will take place Friday, May 16 in Competition Gym. Students should arrive by 8:45 AM for start time at 9:00 AM. Falcon Fly out will follow practice.
Where do I park at the Epicenter?
The Fort Bend County Epicenter will charge a $5 parking fee (a requirement from the venue and NOT Lamar CISD). Parking can be purchased at any entrance on graduation day or pre-paid electronically using the links below.
Please note: Credit cards will be the only acceptable form of payment, and cash will not be accepted on graduation day. Parking is limited; we recommend families to pay for parking ahead of time. Refunds must be handled directly with the venue.

If you do not want to pay the parking fee to the Fort Bend County Epicenter, we will provide complimentary shuttles for guests. You must park at Terry High School to be shuttled to the Epicenter. The shuttles will start running 90 minutes before every ceremony begins and run until 45 minutes after every ceremony concludes. The shuttle will pick up and drop off at the east entrance of the Fort Bend County Epicenter and would drop off back at Terry High School.
Where do I enter and exit the venue?
When arriving at the venue, all guests should enter at the intersection of Highway 59 and Bamore Road. All attendees will have the option to go to the entrance on the feeder or to continue to Bamore Road where they can turn left into the first parking lot entrance.
When exiting the venue, the right lane of the Highway 59 feeder road will be shut down to allow continuous flow of traffic out of the parking lot.


Marc Nathan Photographers, Inc. will capture each graduate's photo with the principal and an individual pose. To receive a link to view the graduate's images, parents must register and provide contact information as LCISD cannot release this. To ensure you receive the best pricing options, registration should be done PRIOR to the commencement date.
Please note there should only be one registration for each graduate. All parents, grandparents, additional family members, etc. can be included under one registration with multiple emails and mobile numbers. A link with graduate images will be sent 1-3 days following commencement. There is no obligation to order and may opt-out of receiving emails and/or texts after the first communication. FINAL Class Rank/GPA has been released for Senior Class of 2025. The class size for seniors for final rank is 625. Top 10% is ranks #1-63.
You can find all three GPA’s and your rank in the student account for Schoolinks.
To locate the GPA/Rank, just download the transcript located in Schoolinks from the student account. Log into Schoolinks from Classlink. Click on School; then Record Requests. Click the Download Unofficial Transcript button under the Your Transcript area. The transcript will download and GPA/Rank will be in the top right area of the transcript.
This will be the last ranking for the graduation class of 2025.
The 2025 Yearbook is nearly here! Distribution will take place the week of May 5 during lunches. In order to guarantee you have a yearbook on distribution day, click here to order. We will not offer cash sales during distribution - all sales will go through our publisher.
