Class of 2025 Information

Information for the Class of 2025 will be posted on this page as it becomes available.  Follow campus and district social media as well for information.

Class of 2025 Graduations Flyer

A calendar of upcoming events for the month of April and May, including prom, a powder puff game, senior spirit week, and graduation.

  • Student Arrival:  All students need to arrive at Foster by 4:30 PM.  Students will ride a shuttle bus to the graduation venue.  Following the cermony, graduates can ride home with their familes or take the shuttle bus back to Foster.  Students MUST ride the bus the graduation venue.
  • Doors Open:  Epicenter doors open to all guests one hour before the ceremony begins.
  • Ceremony Length:  Graduation ceremony is approximately between one and two hours long.
  • Prohibited items: The Epicenter has a a guide on prohibited items and policies
  • Graduate Guildlines:
    • NOT be allowed to bring any bags including purses or backpacks
    • Nothing should be left behind inside the school bus once dropped off at the Epicenter
    • Graduates will carry caps and gowns until instructed to put them on
    • Stoles that are worn must be issued by Lamar CISD, decorations on caps are not allowed, and tassels must be worn on the right side of the cap
    • Do not recommend graduates wear heels unless the style is comfortable, flat and/or low
    • Cell phones must be turned off and not visible during the ceremony
    • Students are NOT permitted to celebrate in ways that cause a disruption or a safety hazard
  • After the Ceremony:  Ahead of the event, please coordinate a meeting spot with your graduate. At the conclusion of the ceremony, graduates will exit the arena floor on the west and east side of the Fort Bend County Epicenter. We kindly ask that graduates and their families do not congregate on site or in the parking lot.
  • Diploma Distribution:  During the ceremony, principals will hand graduates their diploma covers while they walk across the stage. After graduation campuses will share information about diploma distribution.

The Lamar CISD commencement ceremonies for the class of 2025 will be held at the Fort Bend County Epicenter. All 2025 graduation ceremonies will be streamed live on the District's homepage. As the ceremonies begin, you can click HERE to watch.

Where do I park at the Epicenter?

The Fort Bend County Epicenter will charge a $5 parking fee (a requirement from the venue and NOT Lamar CISD). Parking can be purchased at any entrance on graduation day or pre-paid electronically using the links below.

Please note: Credit cards will be the only acceptable form of payment, and cash will not be accepted on graduation day. Parking is limited; we recommend families to pay for parking ahead of time. Refunds must be handled directly with the venue.

If you do not want to pay the parking fee to the Fort Bend County Epicenter, we will provide complimentary shuttles for guests. You must park at Terry High School to be shuttled to the Epicenter. The shuttles will start running 90 minutes before every ceremony begins and run until 45 minutes after every ceremony concludes. The shuttle will pick up and drop off at the east entrance of the Fort Bend County Epicenter and would drop off back at Terry High School.

Where do I enter and exit the venue?

When arriving at the venue, all guests should enter at the intersection of Highway 59 and Bamore Road. All attendees will have the option to go to the entrance on the feeder or to continue to Bamore Road where they can turn left into the first parking lot entrance.

When exiting the venue, the right lane of the Highway 59 feeder road will be shut down to allow continuous flow of traffic out of the parking lot.

Cap & Gown Information

If senior did not pick up cap & gown on March 19, please pick up in Registrar’s office room 1125. Only gowns that were ordered by March 16 are available in Registrar’s office.

If cap & gown has not been ordered, please do so immediately at https://www.balfour.com/graduation-packages-cap-and-gown?smi=112469 or click here. The next distribution date will be April 16 during all lunches.

If there were any issues with cap and gown that was picked up, please address with Balfour rep on April 16 when they return.

Senior Portraits

We are so excited to partner with CADY to capture this milestone because you deserve more than just a yearbook picture to celebrate this achievement.

Check out all of their options to see what is best for you. And don’t forget, CADY will send your selected image(s) to your school to be included in the yearbook if you are photographed by your deadline date.

  • Choose the experience that is best for you: get a VIP experience with an Elite session (including options for hair/makeup styling and exclusive off-site destination scenes) or go with a more simple experience if you are looking for the basics.
  • Session fees do NOT include prints or products, but there are several purchasing options available after you have completed your session.
  • If you select a Traditional session, your proofs will come in a beautiful leatherette portfolio that can be purchased. If you go with an Elite or Most Popular session, the VIP experience continues when you come back to the studio for your photo presentation. At this time, a CADY presenter will help guide you through the photo selecting process and assist in getting customized products ordered.

Counselor Recommendations

Many universities have upcoming application deadlines. If your application requires a Counselor Recommendation, please provide your Counselor with a resume and/or brag sheet so your Letter of Recommendation can be written. Counselors ask for a 14-day notice, so please be conscious of your application deadline and when you are requesting a Letter of Recommendation.
